Teddy Japs is an inspiring gospel artist and a prolific producer. Originally hailing from Jamaica, he now calls Canada his home. Eager to experience life from a new perspective, he made his move to Canada with anticipation, and after 10 years of worldly pursuits, he found his way to God and devoted his life to Jesus Christ.

It was in Jamaica, as a teen, that he first began to sing and develop a love for music and performance. Once in Canada, Teddy continued to pursue his interest in music; he attended the Trebas Institute where he completed a Recording Arts and Sciences program and began to hone his skills as a professional singer.

Currently, Teddy is working on his first gospel album which includes a collaboration with Amoy Levy. The album entitled D’Journey is an eclectic mix of gospel-reggae and is a personal testimony to the unending journey of life and the power of God. The album is co-produced with Dj Raji and was released 2008. A number of tracks have already been released in Jamaica amid popular acclaim.

Among other collaborations, Teddy has also shared the stage with contemporary gospel singers Chevelle Franklyn and Sonya Sutton and has performed with Steadfast as the opening artist for gospel rapper T-Bone.

Teddy Japs describes his music as “real and honest”; he knows about the struggles of life and he exposes his soul to his listeners. He is motivated by a desire to make music that is relatable and conveys a message of hope and deliverance. His wish to help others through his own experiences led to the production of a church play which mirrored his life’s journey from troubled youth to a man of God. In his music, he finds peace and a sense of purpose and he believes sharing this love of music and his faith in God is the fulfillment of his ultimate destiny. A passionate, dedicated band willing to make a difference to expand God’s kingdom. The journeys for this young band began in 2004 where Alain Morales visited a local church in Toronto called Faithful Remenent where he was able to meet Gustavo and Facundo Polo who were members of the church. As they develop a relationship they all decided to join as a group to build the dream that God had placed in there hearts. After this the guys decided to share ideas and gold’s for the band, they started to get together to compose and write songs that let people know about the love of God and how to have a personal relationship with God. The band is compose of three young guys Gustavo Polo on Guitar, Facundo Polo Drums, Alain Morales bass and vocalist their style of music is “ Rock”.

In August 12 2006 Sacred got the opportunity to opened up for a group called “Ordained Praise” at Canada Christian College, after this event the band started getting opportunities to minister around the city. followed by interviews in news paper and radio stations. Sacred has been establishing a fan base around the city of Toronto to bring people closer to the presence of God.

In 2008 the band decided to begin a project recording their on CD in where they will be able to show the gifts and talents that God has given them. Sacred’s purpose is to be able to impact youth that don’t know Christ and show them that Jesus can offer them Salvation and that he is the only way.

Born in Montreal, Canada by the name of Wisler Pierre, Will was raised in a basic christian home of a West Indian, Haitian family of 7 children where Will is the 2nd oldest. One of many summers spent in Chicago, Illinois visiting his relative. At the age of 9, Will embraced Hip-Hop and fell in love with it. He came back to Montreal break-dancing and listening to rap music. Being raised in a Christian home, the Hip-Hop culture was back then a no, no! If it wasn’t Gospel music than it’s the devil’s music. If he wasn’t dragged into church then it was some Gospel concert or Harvest celebration, Thanksgiving, pray and fasting he was brought into. Will in return was well active in the church playing the guitar and singing in the choir. All though he got baptized by the age of 12, Will was still curious about the worldly life. Most of Will’s friends grew up just like him in the church, but unfortunately they ran the streets. Will was soon intrigued by the street life but his father disliked his new found ways and surroundings.

Enough of Will’s none sense, his parents decided to ship him to Orlando, Florida to live with relatives. Living there kept Will out of trouble. He soon built a reputation for himself as a Hip-Hop dancer and wrote rhymes on the low. After graduating from high school, Will decided to come back home to Canada to continue his studies. Meanwhile he formed a group with two siblings and his best friend. They performed all over Canada and in the US. They had a little buzz but it wasn’t enough. While pursuing his studies Will end up hustling and selling drugs and started to embrace the pimp game to pay for his education and other things he needed. Being caught up in the hype by going clubbing, making money, checking girls, fighting and doing everything the world would do thinking it was the good life. Will soon forgot about God and the biblical standards his parents had thought him. But yet, every Sunday Will would be attending church and like every weekend he would also be in the clubs. One night after coming back from a club, Will was laying down in his bed thinking about all the things he achieved and then said to himself:

« Is it what life is all about? Making money, getting around with numerous girls, going out and getting in fights? Naw, it got to be more than that! »

That night would become the night that changed Will’s life. It would never be the same again. He took the decision to do « THE WILL OF GOD » by not living a sinful life and he ceased from being religious and started to have a REAL relationship with Christ, his Savior. Since then, IT WAS ON! Will flipped the script on the devil and started to write and rap to save souls. Will remembered how far deep he was in the world and came back to God just like the Prodigal son. That’s where the ministry of « PRODIGAL ONE » started with a mission to go and reach out to those who didn’t know Christ and to help them finding the way to Jesus. Today, Will continues to bless people throughout the world through his ministry.

“It’s all about the message.” Those are the five words you’ll definitely hear when you listen to Destined2B. The message is one of hope, love, joy found in God all delivered in a package of earth-shattering beats, thought provoking lyrics, and creative music.

This dynamic duo comprised of Lisa and Nicole, deliver their message in a way a listener from any background, religion, or social class can completely understand. Don’t be mistaken though, although D2B has a mainstream sound their beliefs or their message is never comprised, making the reason behind the art more important than art itself.

Destined2B was formed in August 2005. Once being apart of the group AGAPE who was well known within the gospel industry in Toronto, Canada, Nicole and Lisa found themselves being propelled to embark on a new journey. The name Destined2B is just that; Nicole and Lisa believe that their path in life is one that was orchestrated by God, that although they have been involved in music all their lives, singing in choirs, groups, writing music, they would have never thought that they would be where they are today. Nicole and Lisa grew up in the church and have been friends since the tender age of eight. Since then they have built a strong friendship and together they are making history.

What sets D2B apart from the rest is their belief never to compromise who they are and what they stand for. Many people within the music industry conform in order to fit into the mainstream world, D2B flows in the opposite direction, setting themselves apart. Although their music may be one that fits into the category of R&B, their message will forever be the same, one God, one vision and one reason for doing what they do.

In May 2006 D2B began their journey into the music world by recording in the music state, Detroit, Michigan with the experienced producer Wayne Castle from 7th Scope who has worked with the likes of Fred Hammond, Calvin Richardson and the list goes on. While on their journey they faced many obstacles. Nicole became extremely ill and was hospitalized for a month. Although that time was difficult, together they persevered and once Nicole became well they were determined to hit the studio once again. With songs like Ladies Anthem, Wonder and Bye, D2B is on a mission of delivering a heavenly message through earthly means and is changing the music industry one listener at a time.

SPOKEN (Jeremiah  1:9)

With a flow as unique as the message he brings, Mosope “Spoken” Adeyemi seeks to bring “the uncompromising truth of God in the language of the culture.” Being familiar with the Hip Hop culture, Spoken is no stranger to the genre of music, and thus seeks to use the same medium to fulfill the great commission of preaching the gospel and making disciples. Despite his young age, his flow and lyrical ability have been compared to such gospel heavyweights as Da.’ T.R.U.T.H., Lecrae, Flame, and even the secular Lupe Fiasco, to name a few. However, taking cues from these musical and ministerial icons, to him ministry comes first.
Although born and bred in a Christian home, Mosope never made the faith his own. Very rambunctious and adventurous, it’s a testimony that the Lord kept him out of major harm. In God’s providence on October 31, 2003 God snatched Spoken from a life of decadence after having a personal encounter with the Lord. Since then, he’s been continually growing in the grace and anointing of God.

Unlike many destined to make music, Spoken cannot say he always knew he would end up in the industry, nor can he claim he always wanted to make music. Unbeknown to him, this talent for putting words together and presenting the perfect delivery would lie dormant for the first 16 years of his life. “I don’t actually remember specifically how I started making music. It was neither something I had always done, nor was it as though I one day had an epiphany (laughing). At some point around age 14 I just started scribbling little rhymes on offering envelopes here and there. Not sure why really. Then quite randomly at age 16, I decided to perform one of my poems at my youth church, and the response was phenomenal…,” he recounts. But despite the immediate reception he received, Spoken chose to remain unknown for another two years, often refraining from doing shows outside his local church. Only now at age 20 does he feel the LORD has given him the approval to move beyond his local setting. Since his official entrance into the Gospel music industry in 2009, Spoken has already been blessed with opportunities to perform to large crowds.

In 2009, he shared the stage with GRAMMY nominee, and 2X Stellar Award Winner, Da’ T.R.U.T.H in the Cavalry Concert- Da’ T.R.U.T.H’s first appearance in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Later that same year, he also ministered at Ottawa’s premier music festival, Cisco’s Bluesfest, alongside artists such as Israel and New Breed, Papa San, New World Son, and Spirit & Truth. The entire music festival drew an attendance of 30 000+. This year he had the opportunity to open up for LECRAE during his first visit to Canada. Additionally, he has ministered at numerous local concerts in the GTA, and as far as Ottawa. Despite such success, in God’s providence, Spoken is keeping a level head about everything. With her playful smile and fragile exterior, audiences are usually shocked by the raw aggression and unique flow DinahSty brings to the mic. In her teenage years, Lilian could be found frequenting jams (house parties) and nightclubs; a true slave to the music. Her short temper and thirst for confrontation was demonstrated in fights, acts of vandalism and an infamous protest she lead resulting in hundreds of students walking out of their classrooms in high school.

Shortly after the death of her father, who she was very close to, Lilian experienced a second deep and personal tragedy causing her to lose all hope in herself, the world, and God. With her new “atheist like” state of mind, Lilian’s goal was to get on with her life. Her way and by her own rules. If not for the deep and unexplainable personal encounter she had with God, on December 29th 2004, DinahSty would not be the person she is today. It was then that Lilian embraced this deep obligation to give God her all and edify others at the same time. Hard to believe this gifted woman of God had no prior interest in being a rapper or motivational speaker. Yet by God’s divine providence, DinahSty cannot imagine herself doing anything better with her days.

Her past is likened to that of the biblical Dinah, who’s curiosity landed her in a compromised position. Her brothers (Simeon and Levi,) knew her value and could not stand to see their sister defiled. They shed a lot of blood to restore her. In the same way, Lilian is proud to declare that the priceless and atoning blood of her saviour Jesus restored her. She now counts it a joy and privilege to work for HIS majeSty.

Lilian hopes to use her past (Dinah) as a tool to help others fight this battle and reclaim a glorious future(majeSty). Canadian Christian singer/songwriter Jim Drakopoulos displayed a talent and love of music from an early age - when he was just two, his father would mix up the records in a big pile and ask Jim to find certain songs. Without knowing how to read, he would identify them by their labels. At family gatherings, Jim would often be asked to entertain relatives and friends by singing songs (first in Greek and later in English). The first instrument he picked up was the violin, in public school - he was one of the best in his class. A year later, he decided to play the cello, which he continued playing throughout high school and in which he excelled, entering many festivals and competitions while in school. Eventually though, at age, 13, Jim found the instrument that was to become his own – the guitar – within a few months of starting to play guitar, Jim wrote his first song, which he performed before an audience for the first time at a school assembly. Jim found that he had a real gift for writing songs, and it soon became his great passion.

While music was such a huge part of Jim’s life, God was also calling to his heart – raised in the Orthodox faith, Jim made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as the Lord of his life at age 18, and from that point on he dedicated his talent to the Lord and vowed that he would use it for him. Jim has been using his musical gifts and talent to the glory of Christ ever since.

At the end of his high school years, Jim became involved in a bible study with a group of Christians who founded Word of Life Christian Centre. He became worship leader there for over 11 years - leading worship had become a tremendous passion for Jim, as he saw lives transformed by the presence of God.

Jim and his wife Anna graduated from Rhema Bible Training Centre in 1998. He returned to Canada to help out in the music ministry at Harvest Family Church where he remained as Worship Leader until the end of 2006. He recently stepped down to pursue full-time music ministry and to record his songs.

In 2007 Jim released his first solo CD of original songs entitled New Every Morning, which received six 2007 Maja Award nominations and won three - “Album of the Year”, “Artist of the Year” and “Male Artist of the Year”.

With over 3,000 original songs in his catalogue of works, Jim’s second CD “Run The Race” was released in December 2007. He was also nominated in 4 catogories and actually won “Artist of the year’ at the 2008 Maja Awards for the second straight year. His third CD “Comfort and Strength”, was released in May, 2008 and was nominated for “Inspirational Album of the Year” at the 2008 Covenant Awards, held in Calgary Ontario. He continues to record and perform throughout Canada and the USA.
His music is also playing on about two hundred Christian radio stations, some of which include XM Satellite, Joy1250 and WDCX.
